Democracy is cool until you realize that if enough fools get together, they can vanish the whole existence of wise people

This article has been in my draft since September 23, 2020. So, it has been more than a year that I have thought of the topic but did not consider myself for writing about the content I have thought of initially.

I exactly do not recall the incident that inspired me to think of this content but I do agree with the claim that I have made.

Simply, democracy is the system in which two or more individuals or groups that might have the same or different ideologies compete, and the one with the majority of people is selected. In a democracy, authority is in the hand of the people. Whether it is choosing your leader of the nation or choosing your class monitor, democracy gives power to the people. Right in their hand.

Every group, community or society, consists of different types of people with different ideologies. The upbringing of people is relative to the society they grew in. Some people are taken care of nicely and some are not. Some societies are ideally good whereas some are awfully bad. The nature of the person does not depend only upon society only. I feel that some of the traits are inherited. However, I think that character of an individual can be affected by society and the family. That kid who has lived in the ideally good society and has been taught a good life lesson and who is taught integrity will always do well.

Another point of view could be the kid that has been taught well must have a good quality of life and for that his/her parents must be economically strong. I agree with that point of view but I want to add something more to that. Being economically stable and fulfilling all life requirements cannot give birth to the wise kid. It requires the care and love the kid requires. To make him/her understand life, family and society should inspire them. That is the most important thing.

The attention-seeking society that is hungry for publicity and stunt cannot give birth to wise. No matter how rich the parents are, that kid will turn out to be dumb if the kid does not understand the stupidity of society themselves.

The point is these two different kinds of society we live in cannot have the exact same number. There is one dumb side and there is another wise side. Democracy allows picking the one. Let me clear it here, I am not talking about the political system only. This can be generalized. And the point is winner has the tendency to engulf the loser.

Now think it this way if the wise win, they try to engulf the dumb. And if dumb wins, it will try to engulf wise. And I believe that if wise lose they accept and let themselves engulf but dumb they won’t.

Hence, with enough fools, the existence of wise can vanish easily in the democracy.

The reference of the society is given to make insight deep down about the kind of generation being produced can be determined by the society and to make people think at least for one minute how we are heading in the wrong direction if they ever read this post or I ever post it.
